Healing with Creativity
Expressive Arts Therapy
Connection, safety, and trust are the pillars of my practice, and I believe that you are truly the expert of your life. As your therapist, I will walk side by side with you in the healing process.
Expressive Arts Therapy is resource and somatic based therapy that uses creativity as an entry point to facing any challenges that may be happening in your life.
-
Decolonial approach to therapy
Healing is rooted in the core of every culture, although western therapy has had a very harmful past.
-
Sex worker support
Non-judgemental support for those who work in the industry.
-
Artistic support
Sessions focused more on creative exploration and unblocking as opposed to the therapeutic approach.
-
Racial identity & BIPOC support
Support based on lived experience with ongoing cultural competency trainings
Intersection of Art + Therapy
If you’re feeling creatively blocked, need support right now, want to explore and create more, are looking for something a little bit different than traditional talk therapy, or maybe you’re just curious – please feel free to reach out to me for a free 15 minute consultation call.
Hi, I’m Caro
I graduated from my program and became an Expressive Art Therapist in 2020. I have a bachelor of fine arts, and a lifelong dedication to creativity in its many forms. I am a practicing artist alongside my therapy business.
Mental health has always been very important to me, and it is my belief that the mind and body are intrinsically connected, and that our mental health can, of course, affect our physical health.
I have found Expressive Arts therapy to be one of the most effective and accessible modalities, which is what drew me towards it.
If you have any questions for me, please check out the FAQ, or fill out the form on the contact page.
Thank you!
Caro

“My experience working with Caro was absolutely wonderful. Every time I arrived in session, I felt seen and heard and was given the space to feel into my present and past experiences as well as play in the curiosity of the future.”
